Catching Up

It’s been nearly a month since I posted, but the time really has flown by. At the beginning of June I graduated, officially leaving UTSC. It wasn’t as boring as I was lead to believe it would be. Convocation ceremonies get such a bad reputation, but they do a decent job of keeping it from getting too tedious. I spent that week staying with Lianne in Toronto which was good fun.

Since returning to Vancouver things have been very busy. I started a new project and have been busy re-learning python while learning how to model. My todo list has been getting longer instead of shorter… mostly because I’m not sure where to draw a line or what is “enough”. I don’t have clear signposts of what is expected or what is most important. Graduate school, thus far, is confusing. And it hasn’t even started yet.

On a brighter note, I’m very excited for a side project I’ve been working on in my spare time about the big slugs of BC. I don’t want to give too much away, but I may be posting some materials as I go. I’m so excited about it, it’s hard not to want to toss everything else out and work exclusively on it!!

With that tantalizing tidbit I’ll just post this animated gif (you may need to refresh the window).
